The FRIBIS (Freiburg Institute for Basic Income Studies) is a competence network of six institutes and faculties of the University of Freiburg for the research of the Universal Basic Income (UBI). With the help of theoretical, methodological and empirical studies, research according to the UBI is promoted and co-designed. The research work takes place in teams composed of scientists and non-academic actors from society. The international composition of the participants is just as individual and diverse as the separate research areas of the teams.
