We are Sixth Degree, a team have entered F1 in Schools for two years. Earlier in 2015 we competed in the previous season with a team consisting of three members. We managed to surpass the regional finals to compete at the national finals of the competition, where we were placed 17th in the UK. As a team we learnt so much about the competition and gathered so much inspiration and knowledge from the other teams during event days. The passion which had developed within the team drove two of the original members to reform the team and re-enter the competition. The new team consisted of James, Amelia, Josh, Anna, Ed and Olivia who were all enthusiastic and excited to take part in the challenge. Using our results from last year we are raising our standards in every aspect of the project which was successful as we made it to the World Finals in Austin, Texas. Not only did we make it, but we were also placed 5th best team in the world along with our car which was within the top 10 fastest.
