BREMER was established in 1947 near Milan by two brothers, Gianni and Renzo Merlini, with the aim of manufacturing high technology products by the application of advanced methods of construction. The manufacturing of trolleys cableway wagons and cabin was the first activity that drew and developed with success. The name “BREMER” exactly draws its origin from the history of the company. BREMER is the fusion of the word “BREVETTI” (that mean patents) and the surname “MERLINI”, and wants to be the expression of the ideas and the several projects that gave rise to many happy solutions. BREMER from the beginning of sixties turned his interest to a modern valve, new for the period: the ball valve. A new department arose and developed with the aim of studying and manufacturing this type of valve. Quality was the first target to be achieved and the success did not wait for long. The department of ball valves increased so much that Merlini brothers decided to manufacture only ball valves. Since then the product is continuously updated according to the most modern materials and construction methods to face customer expectations. BREMER's production range covers the floating and trunnion ball valves. The medium sized company’s strong point however is the custom made design on request which cannot be only executed in standard carbon steel and stainless steel materials, but also in Duplex, super-duplex, titanium or exotic alloys and other material from ½” to 36” Bremer Valves manufactures and assemblies exclusively in Northern Italy following its approved quality system ISO 9001 and API 6D.
