i2i functions as an independent party (TTP - Trusted Third Party) for health care providers and health insurers. i2i helps health professionals and health insurers resolve ambiguities in claims and contracts. i2i does this by analyzing claims data and by optimizing the claims process. Through this, i2i promotes transparency in health care claims with the goal of allocating public resources justly to prevent Dutch health care costs from rising unnecessarily.
