SwissSkills promotes the implementation and further development of championships in Switzerland in close cooperation with the affiliated partners and allows young professionals to participate in international championships (WorldSkills, EuroSkills). SwissSkills follows three important target elements: - SwissSkills promotes excellence in professional practice. - SwissSkills allows a diverse experience of professions. - SwissSkills helps to promote the image of apprenticeships in Switzerland and to strengthen their reputation. As an addition to other vocational education institutions and events, SwissSkills should therefore primarily appeal to the emotions, and therefore highlight the uniqueness of the dual vocational education system and the career prospects for apprenticeships in Switzerland.
