Neighbors Helping Neighbors Gifts of Love helps meet the basic needs of individuals and families in Greater Hartford experiencing a financial crisis so that they can achieve and maintain self-sufficiency. Our clients are hardworking people who simply cannot make ends meet. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization funded entirely through donations and support from the community. We are driven by the simple principle that struggling working families sometimes need a little extra help. We are fighting food insecurity through our pantry program and our school-based food-filled backpack program. We are proud to be able to provide over two tons of fresh produce harvested on our 77-acre organic farm in Simsbury to those who cannot otherwise afford it. We are committed to supporting the basic living needs of our clients including food assistance, household items, and clothing. We are honored to be able to provide special holiday programs to our clients through the generosity of the community. We are proud of our volunteers who give 1,200 hours a month of their time supporting us. We are proud to be partners with so many supportive foundations, companies, and other organizations who give so generously. We are Gifts of Love.
