We are a unique birth center as we are the largest teaching birth center in Texas. We offer prenatal care, labor and birth all under one roof. Our goal at BioBirth Birth Center is to provide safe and satisfying care that is personalized to meet the needs of each mother-to-be. BioBirth is guided by the philosophy that a woman should be in control of her own health care, including her birth experience. We provide complete prenatal care, labor support and birth with the option for waterbirth with built-in birth pools in your private birth suite. We provide postpartum care, and breastfeeding support to help you and your baby get off to a good start. A well accepted international definition says “midwives are qualified health professionals who provide care to healthy women throughout pregnancy, labor and the postpartum period, and to their newborn infants”. A midwife gives you confidence in your ability to give birth, finding a unique balance between the human touch and technology that is right for each individual woman. Licensed Midwives are highly trained for care of a normal pregnancy, birth, and newborn care.
