Founded in 1986, New Jersey Institute of Technology Procurement Technical Assistance Center (NJIT PTAC) offers free procurement related technical assistance to New Jersey based businesses seeking to sell their products and services to government contractors and federal, state, and local government agencies. NJIT PTAC assists businesses in navigating the private and public sector procurement processes with one-on-one counseling, proposal reviews, certifications, registrations, marketing assistance, post award requirements and resources that have generated over $20 billion in contract awards for our clients. NJIT PTAC is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Department of Defense, Defense Logistics Agency and is, in essence, the Federal Government's supplier diversity/supply chain diversity initiative to identify qualified New Jersey based vendors for the Defense Industrial Base.
