Leadership Development Camp
www.ldclaregion.comFounded in 1948, the Los Angeles Region Leadership Development Camp is committed to training and empowering youth in our communities. LDC is a five day camp sponsored by the American Red Cross where high school students cultivate core life skills such as teamwork, public speaking, and diversity/cultural understanding. As American Red Cross volunteers, staff members create sessions and activities that reinforce delegates’ individual and team leadership skills. Youth form lifelong friendships and become leaders who make a difference in their communities. Mission Statement: The American Red Cross Leadership Development Camp of Los Angeles cultivates core leadership skills and empowers individuals to make a positive impact in their lives and communities through programs facilitated by youth, for youth.
