Friginor project plans, installs and services cooling and freezing systems within: Commercial refrigeration, Industrial refrigeration, Heat-pumps and Stationary Air-Conditioning. The company’s costumers consist of food retail stores, datacenters, industrial companies, real estate companies, building contractors and residential buildings. Friginor was srarted in 1984. The Company has since the start expanded throughout Norrbotten and now employs some 43 cooling technicians, sales people and administrative personnel. With offices in Haparanda and Luleå, and with service stations in Umeå, Skellefteå, Kalix, Piteå, Boden, Kiruna and Gällivare, Friginor covers all of the county of Norrbotten and Västerbotten. - A pioneer within CO2 – the environmentally friendly refrigerant Friginor has been a pioneer in the CO2 cooling industry. In 1998 the company started its CO2 activities. In 2003 the company received its first commercial order and successfully delivered and installed the largest CO2 facility to date globally. In 2007 the CO2 rack production was transferred to Green & Cool World Refrigeration AB. Friginor has since continued to develop its offering within the CO2 installation and service cooling field and has concluded several successful assignments in Sweden and Finland.
