Garden Bootcamp is a garden training school located at Rosemound Farm in Hillsboro, Oregon. The Company is run by Jenna Bayer, Landscape Architect and Designer of Jenna Bayer Garden Design and Lynn Starkman, Master Gardener. Classes run for 4 hours on select Saturdays throughout the year and focus on soil mechanics, compost and mulch benefits, plant selection, irrigation techniques, pruning, propagation and seasonal topics. Classes begin with Basic training information. Advanced classes cover indepth topics including Garden Design, Propagation, Plant Selection, Irrigation and working in the greenhouse. All classes include discussion, garden tour, hands-on labs and a take home planting project. While at Rosemound Farm campers can also purchase tools, plants, soil, and garden supplies.
