Sienna Ranch’s mission is to connect Bay Area youth to nature through compelling outdoor programs to cultivate a more compassionate and environmentally aware future. We are a privately owned ranch in Lafayette, CA near the intersection of Highway 680 and 24. We are centrally located, only fifteen minutes North of San Ramon and fifteen East of Berkeley. The ranch is home to many animals including chickens, ducks, goats, sheep and horses. We value small class sizes, experiential learning, empowerment, fun, and the process of creation. Our curriculum prioritizes: -Meaningful activities that develop patience, perseverance, independence, dexterity and creativity -Unstructured, imaginative, and immersive nature play that develops executive function, healthy interpersonal relationships, and self-confidence -Respectful relationships with our animals that develop empathy, compassion, and personal responsibility, as well as animal care skills and knowledge -Our activities fall under Sienna Ranch’s 5 Pillars: Play, Expression, Inquiry, Skill, and Service.
