The Sustainable Building Advisor Program is one of the longest running and most effective green building education programs in the industry. We have been providing sustainable building training for professionals in green building strategy since before LEED accreditation was launched. We aim to increase the capacity of green building professionals in the industry by offering a comprehensive program to working professionals. The SBA Program simultaneously maintains both a national and local focus. For example, the four-month certificate program is certified nationally and taught by local experienced professionals. Students benefit from this combination because instructors have personal experience in building and regulating the local green landscape and, at the same time, these experts supplement the national curriculum with their regional knowledge and examples. It is worth noting that the Certified Sustainable Building Advisor (CSBA) is recognized internationally, particularly in Canada where SBA classes are offered by the Canadian Green Building Council (CaGBC).
