Mission Bay Capital LLC uses capital and expertise to help entrepreneurs emerging from the University of California change the world. We begin with the conviction that more of the creativity of the University of California can directly benefit society. Universities have an obligation to meet public needs for new sources of energy, new solutions for patients, and ultimately the formation of whole new industries. MBC will help launch companies that meet these needs. Our success will redress social challenges, replenish future funds, and ultimately build a research and educational endowment for QB3 (California Institute for Quantitative Biosciences) to drive the development of the next generation of innovations.
