The Science Olympiad is a coaching, training and competition service for all middle school students who are interested in learning more than is on the school curriculum in the subjects biology, chemistry, geography, computer science, mathematics, philosophy, physics and robotics. Participation is open to all young people at secondary level II throughout Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein and is free of charge. The head office of the Science Olympiad is domiciled at the University of Bern and collaborates closely with the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI).
