Aspen TREE is dedicated to renewing our society's relationship to food while empowering our children to care, for each other and the world. The nonprofit addresses global environmental apathy and disconnect around nature and healthy food systems, and to develop solutions / generate optimism around humanity’s capacity to live well AND care. In order to do this we demonstrate, research and practice high altitude ecological farming, gardening, and integrated livestock management at our "Community Farmyard." We also teach camps, workshops and courses on practical sustainability, regeneration and a healthy foodshed. We are currently developing and refining our "Integrated Food Access" model that ends the cycle of hunger while building community, manages public food producing systems, and generates jobs. Aspen TREE also hosts public events and community offerings!
