Stronger & Better Together was established in the wake of Hurricane Maria with a mission to deliver aid directly to small business owners, students and vulnerable communities throughout Puerto Rico so the island and its people can recover, rebuild and thrive long-term. The first phase of Stronger & Better Together's work focused on delivering personal hygiene products, household items and medicines to individuals in need, directly as quickly as possible. The second phase is focused on providing individual grants to small businesses (2 cashiers or less) to get them back up and running, and helping college students find and enroll in schools on the US mainland so they can complete their studies.
