Association for Creative Education
www.creativedu.huThe Association for Creative Education has been established to promote the global attempts of raising global citizenship. In line with the 4th Sustainable Development Goal and its 4.7 target (ensure that all learners acquire the knowledge and skills needed to promote sustainable development, through education for sustainable development and sustainable lifestyles, human rights, gender equality, promotion of a culture of peace and non-violence, global citizenship and appreciation of cultural diversity and of culture’s contribution to sustainable development), we aim to increase both awareness and sensitivity of people to global issues through improved creative and innovative educational methods. Our members have teaching and talent management experiences in elementary school, high-school, university and adult education both in national and international environment. Besides, we have more than 10-year project experiences including Erasmus+, Visegrad Fund, Danube Transnational Programme, Central Europe Programme, and Széchenyi 2020. We find continuous development important, so we regularly participate in the annual conferences of European Association for International Education, Association for Teaching and Research of Marketing, trainings for teachers and other domestic and international conferences. We are deeply committed to global citizenship education. We organize local activities concentrating on awareness raising on global issues, we have partnerships with secondary schools. Besides, we also undertake international projects with preparing project concepts directly or indirectly linked to the topic of global citizenship education; writing applications; establishing and coordinating consortia; taking on the roles of a project partner; conducting high level communication activities adhering to the digital changes of the 21st century; developing and arranging creative trainings.
