The Association covers the east coast of the United States of America which includes: Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kentucky, District of Columbia, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, Maine, and Canada. Gulf Coast States include--Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. MISSION: The mission of ECCSSA is "To promote interest in the study and teaching of Social Science - which includes anthropology, criminal justice, economics, education, geography, history, political science, psychology, sociology, and all modifications or combinations of subjects whose content as well as aim is predominantly social".
