Richmond Journal of Law and Technology

jolt.richmond.edu

The Richmond Journal of Law and Technology is the first law review in the world to be published exclusively online. First published on April 10, 1995, the Journal focuses on the impact that computer-related and other emerging technologies have on the law. The Journal is published entirely by students of the University of Richmond School of Law. Publishing online has proved to be tremendously beneficial in allowing the Journal to reach a much wider audience than would have been possible using the traditional print medium. Our articles now reach thousands of readers per month in more than 70 countries around the world. We currently publish 4-5 issues per academic year. Each issue covers a broad range of topics ranging from developing legal issues on the Internet to issues in bio-technology and emerging areas of constitutional law. Since its founding in 1995, the Journal has expanded its scope to encompass the full range of topics under the general heading of Technology Law.
