Founded in 1990, Garden for the Environment teaches organic gardening, sustainable landscaping and urban agriculture to youth and adults in San Francisco, California. Offering expert instruction in a variety of educational capacities, from two-hour workshops to three-month trainings to all-day youth fieldtrips, we are teaching San Franciscans of all ages the practical skills required to personally contribute to sustainability through gardens, farms and food.
