he Council on Teacher Education (CTE) within the Office of the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs supports students and faculty in over twenty Illinois educator and school personnel preparation programs at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). CTE oversees the programs that prepare students for licensure in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade school settings by the Illinois State Board of Education.
