Fostering Priestly & Religious Vocations Through Student Loan Resolution. The Labouré Society exists to foster priestly and religious vocations through student loan resolution. As dioceses and religious communities cannot assume these debts, individuals must have this impediment resolved before entering formation. Without this assistance, half of all vocations may be delayed for many years, and even abandoned. This is unacceptable. The Church and the World need holy priests and religious more today than ever!   Operational since 2003, as a 501c3, The Labouré Society has experienced remarkable success. Through December 2010, 209 individuals have been ordained, professed or are in various stages of formation as a result of the generosity of God’s Holy people: 45 to the priesthood, 141 as religious sisters and 23 as religious brothers. There are an additional 50 qualified Aspirants in our portfolio currently in need of assistance.
