Seny Consulting International engages public and private sector clients to identify and deploy global solutions to local challenges solutions via benchmarking, financing and creative coalition-building. Seny, an ancient Catalan word, is one of my favorites. It represents the values that I want the company to reflect: a combination of wisdom, integrity, perseverance and common sense. Discoveries I made in my prior roles led me to create Seny. I consistently observed that: • Public Administrations around the globe — particularly but not exclusively local administrations — were not taking advantage of international opportunities for engagement, finance and benchmarking to strengthen their domestic policy goals. • Private Sector clients were likewise not taking advantage of international public & private expansion opportunities. That’s when I realized that I had the savvy, experience and network to arm public and private sector stakeholders with the international engagement strategies they need to ensure their success. I envisioned ways to support local policy priorities — from waste-to-energy plants to public markets, infrastructure improvements, city branding, talent attraction and smart cities technologies — by leveraging my knowledge of and access to international stakeholders and resources. In my role I have already successfully advised: ► Private Sector clients on global finance alternatives to local Public/Private Partnership opportunities. ► A Partner Consulting firm on Public Sector expansion across Latin America ► Public Administration and Multilateral Institutions on internationalization, branding and talent attraction strategies.
