Mid Kent Mind
www.maidstonemind.orgMid-Kent Mind are a registered UK Charity (Charity Number 1167328), and are a local branch of the nationally recognised mental health charity, ‘Mind’. As a local entity we are entirely self-funded – and therefore rely on the goodwill of our communities to continue to offer support to people who are in need. The support we offered is varied and diverse – incorporating Community Groups, a Low-Cost Counselling Service, courses which promote positive coping strategies and also courses which provide more in-depth knowledge on certain mental health problems and how we can better cope with them. These programmes are accompanied by an extensive assortment of youth courses to support young people with developing resilience from a young age, too. We also offer a wealth of support to businesses – including bespoke training packages which empower them to educate their employees about mental health and wellbeing, encouraging better awareness of mental health within the workplace, and in turn, creating better and more supportive workplace environments. If you would like to learn more about what we do, you can e-mail community@mmkmind.org.uk today.
