Who We Are: SmartTeams is a program of MomsTeam Institute, Inc. (“the Institute”), a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit formed in 2013 to continue and expand on the fourteen-year mission of its predecessor, MomsTEAM.com, Inc. in providing comprehensive, well-researched information to sports parents, athletes, coaches, athletic trainers, and other health care professionals about sports health and safety, nutrition, and parenting. Our Mission: The Institute's mission for the past 15 years has been to provide all those involved in sports with comprehensive, objective, impeccably researched and practical information, and best practice resources and solutions, to help keep student-athletes safe, physically, psychologically, and sexually.
