The goal of the SILC companion is to maximize independence for our clients. We focus on companionship that helps with day to day activites such as preparing meals, light exercise, running errands, fun activites and social and mental stimulation. Maintaining dignity, promoting independence, sharing life experiences and just being there for our clients in this phase of their life is our specialty. SILC is licensed and insured. Our caregivers are bonded and background checks are performed on every employee. Full visit reports are available to the caregiver if not present during a SILC companion's visit. Often times the elderly can feel they are a burden to family and friends if relying on them for day-to-day care. Hiring SILC to provide assistance with daily tasks and activities, encourages self esteem and independence, reducing the worry of being a burden and allowing for quality visits with family and friends. SILC believes in building personal relationships with our clients by providing conversation, companionship and activities that help to make their lives better!
