Ronald McDonald House Charities ACT & South East NSW
www.rmhc.org.auThe RMHC ACT & South East NSW Chapter is dedicated to providing vital programs for families with seriously ill children in our region. Our Chapter was established in 2012 as part of the Centenary Hospital for Women and Children, where our 'House' for families is located. Ronald McDonald House Canberra, our Canberra Family Room and our Bateman’s Bay Family Retreat provide families throughout the ACT and South East NSW region with warm and welcoming places to stay, get support or relax and recharge, while going through the difficult journey of childhood illness. Through our accommodation and support services, we strive to keep families together when life gets turned upside down due to a child’s illness. #KeepingFamiliesClose Our Ronald McDonald House, Ronald McDonald Retreat and Ronald McDonald Family Room in the ACT & SE NSW region are run by a small team of hard working team staff, supported by a large number of volunteers, and aided by the generous support of our donors, sponsors and corporate partners. Ronald McDonald House Charities is an independent charity that relies on the work of our volunteers and the financial support of individual and corporate donations. Without the generous contributions from our supporters, we would be unable to keep our doors open to families in need 365 days a year. There are many ways you can contribute to our vital programs including our Houses, Family Rooms, Family Retreats and the Learning Program: Donate, Volunteer, Host a Fundraiser, Become a Corporate Partner, Leave a Bequest, Give through your Workplace, Participate in our events, or donate through a McDonald's restaurant.
