With a career that began in 1968 as an Electronics Technician apprentice, Edwin gained wide-ranging practical experience in many aspects of international sales, marketing, product management, project management and customer support of high-performance instrumentation data recording systems, mostly in aerospace and defence related applications. Edwin was part of a new business venture that, from 1997, developed niche products for communications monitoring, handling international sales, marketing and product management. This expanded into Digital Audio Broadcasting in 2003, which led to Edwin’s active involvement in WorldDAB, the global industry forum for digital radio, including exhibitions, conferences and seminars.
