Indiana Public Employers' Plan, Inc. (IPEP) is a is a nonprofit, self-funded workers compensation program for Indiana public employers. IPEP provides a self-funded program that satisfies the obligations of IPEP members under the Indiana Workers Compensation Act, the Indiana Occupational Diseases Act and the Indiana Employers Liability Act. Founded in 1989, IPEP meets the needs of political subdivisions and governmental entities in Indiana, serving as the largest provider of public entity workers compensation in the state. IPEP works on behalf of 600 active members, providing coverage for well over $1 billion in public worker wages.
