ESD’s unparalleled balance of rigor and nurture inspires students to maximize their potential. The School was founded in 1974 by the Reverend Stephen B. Swann and local-area leaders with the belief that all children are made in the image of a loving God. What began with eight seventh-graders in temporary space has grown to more than 1,170 students, age 3 - twelfth grade.
