The goal of The Ultimate Hike For A Cure (UHFAC) is to help raise funding for the establishment of a camp for diabetics in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. This will be accomplished through a fundraising campaign centered around backpacking trips being made by myself, Ty Hover, the founder and CEO, and our UHFAC hiking team. The first of said trips, will consist of attempting to hike from Lowell, MI, along the North Country Trail through the U.P. of Michigan, through Wisconsin, Minnesota, and North Dakota. At the border of North Dakota and Montana, we will link up with the Lewis & Clarke Trail and continue to push west for another 225 miles. At which point we will turn northwest and begin our journey through Canada on towards our final destination in downtown Anchorage, AK.
