Rockfish Wildlife Sanctuary is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization devoted to rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing native wildlife in Central Virginia. RWS intakes over 800 patients annually, from small mammals to birds of prey. We operate from a peaceful 20 acre property in rural Nelson County, where we have a state-of-the-art indoor nursery facility and over fifty outdoor enclosures. In addition to our mission to rehabilitate wildlife, we operate a robust education outreach program to teach the public about our wild neighbors.
