OUR STORY: Meet Calefy, the fully-optimized, application generation solution that improves the experience for brokers, MGA’s and insurers. Calefy started out as a part of a digital commercial insurance brokerage based in Western Canada. This brokerage acted as a real-world testing and development lab for our software. After 2 and a half years of development, Calefy split off to form its own company at the beginning of 2020. Calefy was created by a seasoned insurance professional and software engineer. Insurance is at the centre of everything we develop. We experience the difficulties with the current commercial insurance process first-hand and work to develop software to automate and improve on those processes. Calefy brings efficiency to the Canadian commercial insurance marketplace by automating and improving many of the touchpoints in your daily workflow. HOW OUR SOFTWARE WORKS: Through Calefy, a broker or client fills out the forms they need right from a brokerage’s website, and automatically generated applications appear in the broker’s inbox, complete and ready for submission. Calefy’s platform is populated with application forms relevant to the industries our clients serve, so they no longer have to spend time finding the right applications for their prospects. The forms are tailored and adapt based on questions answered, so they never miss important client information again.
