CJ Ministries International
www.cjmi.orgCJMI has a singular purpose to help those in need but it accomplishes this through a number of avenues not unlike the origin of it’s name. CJMI was named for Carla Jean who served along with her family as missionaries in the Philippines for 10 years. CJ, as she was fondly nicknamed, had a passion to help improve the lives of people who otherwise lack opportunity, particularly the children. They worked together to bring medical help and education to the indigenous people of the Philippines. CJMI is an Arizona based charity created to provide economic, educational, medical and spiritual relief to people in needy areas. CJMI strives to provide the basic necessities such as food, clothing, shelter, and healthcare through monetary and supply donations. With the current disaster left by Typhoon Haiyan the Ati school and many houses where destroyed leaving many without even basic needs. Water and sewer have been compromised as well leading to follow-on diseases which are often more devastating then the initial disaster.
