White Rock United Methodist Church - located in one of the most dynamic neighborhoods of Dallas and led by our Senior Pastor, Rev. George Fisk - is a traditional church with a contemporary influence. As believers, we know that we are called to take care of the gifts God has given us. Yet so often the daily grind of work, family chores and other commitments causes us to forget to appreciate the beauty that surrounds us as well as the huge impact even our smallest decisions can have on the preservation of that natural beauty for years to come. As fortunate as our congregation is to be located amongst some of the most beautiful examples of nature in Dallas (White Rock Lake and the Arboretum to name just a few) this is a concept we should all hold dear. We proudly serve as a true neighborhood church, right in the middle of United Methodist beliefs and traditions as they relate to the worship experience, theology, and political beliefs offering many opportunities for service and growth to our members and community including: The Discovery Center, youth and children's programs, active adult Sunday school classes, service projects that vary by season, United Methodist Women groups, music groups and the opportunity to for even the shyest amongst us to get theatrical every now and then.
