Current projects include: 1) Resourcing refugee centres in countries bordering Ukraine. 2) Helping to fund those who are taking supplies into Ukraine and returning with refugees. 3) Providing documentation needed for schooling, child benefit, medical and dental help, legal employment, pensions and disability benefits. 4) Providing food packages and regular hot meals. 5) Giving shower blocks, washing machines and detergent to extremely poor communities. 6) Providing children with the equipment they need for school. 7) Sourcing and converting shipping containers into temporary accommodation. 8) Counselling and running seminars to help teenage girls who are at danger of dropping out of school, to reduce the risk of teenage pregnancy. 10) Helping to fund education and school transport for children. 11) Supporting rehabilitation centres, support for children with special needs, and kindergartens in impoverished areas. 12) Our own Family and Elderly Christmas Shoebox Appeal. How do we resource these projects? Our team work incredibly hard to fund all these projects sustainably. Fundraising is achieved through direct online and offline donations, various fundraising campaigns, and money raised by charity shops we operate on eBay and in Worthing, Littlehampton, Rustington, Ferring and Goring-by-Sea.
