Sage Vista School is a progressive independent private school in San Jose, currently serving children in grades JK to 6th. SVS was founded in 2011 and was developed to provide a dynamic, innovative experience for young children in the Silicon Valley. Our educational program is based on extensive research about how children learn best. An inquiry-based approach underlies all that we do, providing a solid foundation upon which a lifetime of learning begins. We believe strongly that children learn best through experience and should be challenged at their ability level. Learning should be meaningful and interactive, and the learning process prioritized. In this regard, we provide a variety of learning opportunities both inside and outside of the classroom. The school delivers a well-balanced curriculum which emphasizes a challenging academic program and promotes emotional intelligence. Sage Vista has an unique social curriculum used to teach, promote and evaluate the social-emotional learning of our students. Bright students who possess emotional intelligence are future leaders in the community and work place. Sage Vista's academic program includes Spanish daily, music/drama and art twice a week and physical education three times a week.
