Astrophysics at Ferrara The high energy astrophysics group of the Physics Department of the Ferrara University has been working for many years on several research fields, obtaining awards of international level, among them the Descartes Prize 2002. The research activity is divided in two main lines: the first one concerning the data analysis of the observational data of the most recent satellites for X and γ-ray astronomy, the second one is dedicated to the R&D of new instrumentation to be employed on board of the future satellite missions.
