Wolfram Alderson, The Artist
www.wolframalderson.comWolfram Alderson has served as curator and lead artist in several public exhibitions and has also developed two major art therapy and rehabilitation programs in the Los Angeles area, one for Cuban refugees and the other for severely abused children. His art and creative imagination have always existed in relationship to his life-long social change career, intersecting in powerful ways with the populations and the communities he has served – at the intersection of human and environmental health. Wolfram is a sculptor and painter and known for his fun "glow in the dark" shows featuring life size works that illuminate his own mythology in a style he calls "primitive intergalactic." Wolfram's recent work is all "downloaded" from a sci-fi epic he has been writing called "Pupazzo Universo", and features a series of illuminated "sculpture paintings" and sgraffito style "explanatory paintings. Two recent solo shows, "Love Icon Show" and "Puppet of Love Show" featured work that was captured in a documentary (featured on the front page of www.wolframalderson.com).
