Arts & Scraps is a Detroit nonprofit organization that annually recycles 28 tons of industrial material into learning and creative experiences for 275,000 people of all ages and abilities. At Arts & Scraps: public store open Tues. Thurs. 11-6, Sat. 11-4: shop for bulk materials and complete kits for groups and individuals , free project planning; hands on area w/a project open to the public scheduled at any time: group field trips, Arts & Scraps at Night (adults create and enjoy themselves, BYOB) and birthday parties.
