AECG is a group of companies founded in 1991 by CEO Alan Ett which is focused on the establishment of strong relationships in the ever evolving media and entertainment industry. The success and reputation of each individual company creates the opportunity for the development of new divisions to offer new services and thereby create new revenue streams. The concept for the growth of AECG has always been based upon the synergistic leverage of its companies to offer a widening array of extraordinary products and services to the production community. In 2017, AECG sold three operating divisions, including The Music Collective, Opus 1 Production Music Library, and Audio Horizons (IMRAS), to leading independent music publisher Spirit Music Group. Today, AECG still continues to operate multiple divisions from its headquarters in Studio City, CA, including Media City Sound and Axelrod-Ett Productions.
