Caldwell Family Centre has been providing programs and services to low-income families in Ottawa since 1986. Our Mission is to reduce the impact of poverty in Ottawa. Our Vision is a city without poverty where all residents live with dignity. In an average month we: - serve 7,000 to 8,000 weekday meals - help 300-350 children and 650-750 at the food bank - serve 125 children in the Baby Depot - provide 4,000 afterschool snacks during the school year - have 80 children in summer camp In addition we provide: - 350 to 450 Christmas Hampers annually - 200 to 250 backpacks for school children - employment readiness classes - access to a Settlement Worker
