Welcome to EYC Academy Empowering Students Through One-to-One Teaching Who We Are Empowering Youth and Communities Inc., a non-profit 501c3 private agency, opened its doors in 2018 as EYC Academy of St Louis to bring outstanding one-to-one private education to 6th through 12th grade students, as an approved private agency with the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. We also work with college students and adult learners. We provide a unique one-teacher, one-student approach for those seeking a more attentive, therapeutic, alternative educational environment. Our Approach We use a competency-based approach in our educational programs which allows students to not only demonstrate mastery of the various academic concepts, but to also be able to apply these skills as they advance through their curriculum at their own pace to prepare for college, career, entrepreneurial or military options.
