Quite Scientific Records is an independent record label based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Founded in 2006 by Justin Spindler, and brothers Brian and Jeremy Peters, it all started out with a simple idea to release some compilations of local acts in an effort to shine a light upon the talent within southern Michigan's music scene. Overnight it seems, QuiSci ( /kwī-sī/) evolved into the full fledged indie imprint that it is today. Though its roster has grown to include many artists from outside of the Michigan area, one can still find the label focusing on the Midwest musicians, aesthetic, and general good atmosphere that seems to permeate the air surrounding the Great Lakes.
