We celebrate a case of reversal of Alzheimer's disease that was just published in Case Reports in Neurological Medicine. https://www.hindawi.com/journals/crinm/2016/6121878/ Alzheimer's treatment starts with understanding the cause of the damage to the neurons. The Dementia Prevention Center has a unique method for the detection of what is causing brain damage and then being able to explain it in plain language. For each patient, we have developed personalized steps to reduce the impact of medical conditions that are identified. A first "senior moment" is not a normal part of aging - this is when you have first noticed that something is wrong with your brain. Memory loss or senior moment is not a normal part of the aging process. As you get older, you develop better language skills; you increase your vocabulary; you’re able to improve social and complex reasoning skills; your inductive reasoning improves; you practice an enhanced application of your trust; you’re able to enjoy incorporating decades of experience into new decisions; spatial reasoning improves; you become better with your ability to focus more on positive information and lesson the negative; and you enjoy enhanced wisdom. These abilities are not compatible with the decay of an organ. Biopsies from the brain of the most aged will show perfectly normal brain tissue (neurons) next to brain tissue damaged from micron strokes (and larger strokes). Dr. Orehek's concept that the brain does not age is significant. We have a number of cases that came under treatment and our investigation was able to reveal a number of independent medical conditions and diagnosis that once mitigated resulted in a stabilization of the patients with dementia (Alzheimer's, vascular, fronto temporal, encephalopathic, multiple sclerosis, lewy body, ALS, Parkinson's, or other related dementia) Here at the Dementia Prevention Center we specialize in the prevention of Alzheimer's disease and other types of dementia.
