Rüdiger Veit and Dietmar Lang have founded Vela Schrauben GmbH in 1980. The name „Vela“ was derived from the two surnames, and has since then been a synonym for flexibility, quality and customer service for almost four decades. The logo showcases the primary product of our business - the cable clamp combination screw (SEMS screws, screws pre-assembled with free-spinning lock washers). We do not only distinguish ourselves by technological innovation across all of our product lines but also by our tradition. The history of Vela demonstrates that new ideas, reliability and emphasis on customer service all have contributed to the continuous development of the company. We are a medium-sized family run business, now largely managed by the second generation. Many years of experience in assembly technology, combined with our philosophy that the customer is at the heart and soul of everything we do, has also aided to make our business successful internationally. Our company’s headquarter is in Neuhausen auf den Fildern, a smaller city near Stuttgart as well as in close proximity to the airport. We have another production facility in Kierspe (North Rhine-Westphalia). We also maintain two international representations, one in Great Britain and another in France, which ensures a speedy, global availability of our products and a high degree of customer service.
