Founded in 2013 as the Curtin International Affairs Association (CIAA), the voluntarily run student organisation aims to promote the engagement of students with opportunities, events and networking within international affairs. Today, the Curtin International Relations Society (CIRS) strives to cultivate an international relations culture on campus for staff and students. Throughout the academic calendar, the CIRS hosts an array of events and lectures at Curtin University on issues of global importance. The CIRS has contributed to the development and engagement of the international relations undergraduate community within Curtin University.
