World Connect operates unlike traditional NGOs. We have no agenda that we impose upon the communities we invest in. We are singularly focused on discovering hidden potential in the most under-resourced areas of the world. Great ideas and natural leaders exist in every community, they need only to be identified, cultivated, and supported with direct investment. With 1,400 grassroots projects under our belt launched across 39 countries, we’ve witnessed more effective and sustainable change when the solutions originate within and are led by local communities. 100% of project partners contribute their own cash to the projects, 95% of projects achieve their goals, 82% of projects are sustaining at one year out, 51% are led by women, and 32% replicate or scale. And we won’t stop until we all live in an equitable world, where disparities are eliminated and global communities become independent from aid, demonstrating the strength of human connection and capacity.
