The Mt. Pleasant News is a Monday through Friday afternoon newspaper serving Henry County in southeast Iowa. The News covers the cities of Mt. Pleasant, New London, Winfield, Wayland, Salem, Mt. Union, Swedesburg and the city of Danville in western Des Moines County. Also included in the coverage areas are the school districts of Mt. Pleasant, WACO, Winfield-Mt. Union, New London and Iowa Wesleyan College.
